Doctor Who could boost toy giant's profits further

Toy giant Character Group is hoping new Doctor Who Matt Smith will boost sales even further after surging back into the black.

The firm, which made a packet out of the ZhuZhu Pets' craze, reckons Doctor Who will become a £10million a year range.

Character made a £3.7m profit in the six months to February 28 - up from a £3.8m loss the year before - after increasing sales and cutting costs.
