FORMER Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston has said he wants to try his hand at comedy.
The intense actor, 46 - who played the timelord in 2005 - insisted: "I haven't worked since December because I'm choosy.

"I'd like to do comedy for the rest of my life and surprise everyone and myself.

"My entire personal life has been a comedy, so I have experience."
