Being human (the complex set of social rituals, not the popular BBC supernatural series) can't be an easy thing to master. The Doctor certainly finds it very testing in this week's episode of Doctor Who, 'The Lodger'. But be human he must, so away goes the sonic and out comes the electric toothbrush.
With Amy trapped in a materialisation loop aboard the Tardis, a dark stain appearing on the ceiling and strange noises coming from upstairs, the Doctor rents a room to investigate - but discovers more than he'd bargained for.
