Steven Moffat teases 'Doctor Who' finale
Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has revealed details of the final two episodes of the show's current series.
Speaking to Doctor Who Magazine, Moffat explained that the series arc will come to a head in the cliffhanger ending of the twelfth episode 'The Pandorica Opens'.
"It's not just the cliffhanger for Episode 12," he said, "it's like the cliffhanger for every single episode up until that point. This is where the wheels come off. Everything the Doctor is running from lands on his head today,"
Moffat also revealed that he believes his seven-year-old self would be "crying my eyes out by the end of 12. And then again at the end of 13 - but a different kind of crying".
''The Pandorica Opens' is due to air in the UK on June 19, while the final episode of the current fifth series 'The Big Bang' will air on June 26.

Swearing
A 7 year old and a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom.
'You know what?' says the 7 year old, 'I think it's about time we started swearing.'
The 4 year old nods his head in approval, so the 7 year old says, 'When we go downstairs for breakfast I'm gonna swear first, then you swear after me, ok?'
'Ok' the 4 year old, agrees with enthusiasm..
The mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 7 year old what he wants for breakfast.
'Oh, shit mum, I don't know, I suppose I'll have some Coco Pops'
WHACK!! He flew out of his chair, tumbled across the kitchen floor, got up, and ran upstairs crying his eyes out.
She looked at the 4 year old and asked with a stern voice, ' And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?'
'I don't know,' he blubbers, 'but it won't be f*****g Coco Pops'

This really is a great story
Anyone who has pets will really like this. You'll like it even if you don't and you may even decide you need one!
Mary and her husband Jim had a dog named 'Lucky' Lucky was a real character. Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy. Inevitably, someone would forget and something would come up missing.
Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's other favorite toys Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.
It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease.....in fact; she was just sure it was fatal.
She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding her shoulders. The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her..what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim, he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die, Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him! The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death.
The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully, but the little dog just drooped, whining and miserable.
Finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap..
Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed.
When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. But panic soon gave way to laughter when Mary realized the problem. She was covered, literally blanketed, with every treasure Lucky owned! While she had slept, the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement bringing his beloved mistress all his favorite things in life.
He had covered her with his love.
Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every day. It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free. Lucky He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box but Mary remains his greatest treasure.
Remember....live every day to the fullest. Each minute is a blessing from God. And never forget....the people who make a difference in our lives are not the ones with the most Credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care for us.
If you see someone without a smile today give them one of yours! Live simply. Love seriously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God
A small request...
Dear God, I pray for the cure of cancer.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I found parts of this review funny... "[the Doctor] is dressed like he fell through a charity shop backwards, and the other… well, dressed like a stripper."
Good point - a reason (Rio) was given for Amy's belt...erm, I mean skirt... yet Amy was wearing a leather jacket?! (Doesn't really matter though, right?!)
Most reviews that I have read are critical of Meera Syal, but I thought she was fab in The Hungry Earth. Also thought the other guest actors were good too.
Whilst fair criticisms are made of the episode, I think the key is not to take the programme too seriously if at all possible. It is family entertainment, and if I may say so it does a great job at doing that. A lot of love obviously goes into making each and every episode of Doctor Who, as this weeks Confidential shows, and it is important to remember that.
I'm not saying don't call an episode crap if you think that it is, but try and have the above in the back of your mind perhaps?
Anyway!.. toodle-pip! :-)

Karen Gillan: just what the doctor ordered
Red alert! It's Karen Gillan: the giant flame-haired time-travelling Scotswoman with whom the British nation has fallen madly, hopelessly and devotedly in love. Here she comes, fresh from these photographs, pounding down the thickly carpeted stairs of Fulham Palace in a dirty great pair of heels and a shimmering fairy-tale frock, all six foot of her and, I can't help noticing, most of it leg.

Time Lord visits the 1930s
DOCTOR Who star Matt Smith looks just like, er, Doctor Who in his new BBC drama.
We revealed how the Timelord is playing gay writer Christopher Isherwood in Christopher and His Kind for BBC2.
The 1930s film sees him raid the dressing-up box again for an outfit that looks very much like the kind of natty ensemble his time-travelling alter ego might wear.
Lindsay Duncan - who starred in Doctor Who adventure The Waters Of Mars last year - plays his mum.
The drama is set in Berlin.
