Barman Tom Walker, 23, has been bombarded by autograph hunters since the debut of Matt, 27, was seen by nearly 11million on BBC1 on New Year's Day.
Tom, of Newcastle upon Tyne, said: "When he appeared, I was inundated with texts and emails. People have since even stopped me in the street."
