In 1979, sixteen year-old Doctor Who fan Steve Cambden’s dream came true – to actually work on the show. Steve would become K9’s assistant operator, and thus a lifelong bond with a cult science-fiction show and robotic dog was born. Steve’s Doctor Who dream led to his career as a stage technician for film and theatre, and he is a regular face at conventions and events.
