Did you know? (The End of Time Part 2)

Totters group member Jamie Jones listened to the commentary on 'The End of Time Part 2' and noted the following...

- The service revolver that Wilf has is actually Captain Jack's.

- John Simm more-or-less suggests that it won't be him playing the Master if he returns.

- The scenes filmed at the U.N.I.T. base are actually a real location which is a traffic monitoring building which doesn't explain why it looks like a naff computer generated shot.

- The scene filmed with Luke and Sarah Jane has a continuity error as Luke is acting as though this is the first time he has seen the Doctor in the flesh which is right as this scene follows on from Journey's End because at this point it hadn't been decided that David Tennant would be appearing in the Sarah Jane Adventures as-well.

- In the scene where the Doctor looks at Donna, just after Wilf has asked who the strange woman was, notice that just offside in that shot is also Donna's mum. In the shooting script the Doctor looks at everyone rather than just at one person.

- Euros Lynn points out that considering this is filmed in Cardiff there is only one proper Welsh accent in that last episode and that is the photographer at Donna's wedding. Timothy Dalton doesn't count as he now has a watered down RP accent which is also mixed with a Northern English accent.

- The Ood's song has lyrics that are in latin which say 'Goodbye Ten'.

- Billie Piper is wearing two pieces of false blonde hair which is attatched to the hat as her hair colour is different because she was in the middle of filming the Secret Diary for ITV 3.

- When Rose leaves the Doctor she is off to Mickey's flat.

- David, John Simm and Euros Lynn seem to think that the End of Time has possibly one too many endings which made it difficult to edit the pace so at one point the Verity Newman scene was cut out and when the finished version was shown to RTD, he didn't notice the scene missing until quite abit afterwards.

- In the shooting script for the End of Time part 2 it is the mysterious woman who gives the Doctor the hint to shoot the crystal out of the machine by her eyes looking at the Doctor and then just slightly away towards the Master and the machine.

- David Tennant mentions on the commentary that Timothy Dalton's character is THE Rassilon rather than someone assuming the name or a relation.

Interesting stuff... many thanks to our very own Time Lord Jamie Jones.

You would think if they gave Billie different hair than what she had at the time they would have referred to Series One and at least gotten the hair right.

We know the teeth are gonna look different, obviously, but the hair is such an easy fix.
