Former Doctor Who star, Peter Davision has recently been cast in the new West End musical, 'Legally Blonde'

Former Doctor Who star, Peter Davision has recently been cast in the new West End musical, 'Legally Blonde'. Alongside former Coronation Street and Eastender star, Jill Halfpenny, Davison will be playing the character of Professor Callahan.The musical will be based around the film which starred, Reese Witherspoon, in 2001.Peter Davison was the 5th Doctor and also starred in the CiN (Children In Need) special in 2007. This is not the first time he has been cast in a musical, he has also made appearances in Spamalot, of which he played the character, King Arthur.Rehearsals are now well underway, and the performance is expected to start on the 5th December 2009 at the Savoy Theatre. The performance will end on May 23, 2010.
