The Ghost Writer - Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan
What a complete pile of hot steamy poo! 2/10.
Soooooo slow... soooooo boring... and soooooo not worth watching!
Ewan McGregor is a joy to watch as always (didn't get his willy out as he usually does, shame that!) and Pierce puts in a convincing performance too. Some will marvel at the slow pace of this film, I didn't... the film never got going... I found it really frustrating. Oh, and it also has a shit ending.
The 2/10 - a point each for Ewan and Pierce. (Pierce is a strange name isn't it?.. anyway...)
With reviews like that above, I think Claudia Winkleman and Film 2010 had better watch out! Haha! ;-)

Trevor Eve blasts BBC over Doctor Who
Actor Trevor Eve, who is appearing in ITV’s remake of Bouquet of Barbed Wire, has blasted the BBC for concentrating too heavily on Doctor Who and similar shows. The actor plays DCI Boyd in the crime series Waking the Dead on BBC One which has been commissioned for another series to air next year - reportedly its last. The actor has blasted the corporation though in an interview with The Sunday Times over its interest in Doctor Who.
"All they are interested in are spinoffs from Doctor Who and shows similar to Doctor Who, like Sherlock. It's fine as far as it goes, but Doctor Who is a 40-year-old children's programme” Trevor Eve quoted in The Sunday Times.
Doctor Who and its two spin-offs, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood, are big ratings winners for the BBC in the UK but also abroad with strong international sales. The strength of Torchwood abroad has lead to American broadcaster Starz co-producing the next series of the spin-off, Torchwood: The New World. The actor’s comments are sure to anger fans of the Doctor Who franchise who’ll be quick to point out the series is NOT a children’s programme; it’s a family drama.

Sylvester McCoy - Billy Connolly to be next Doctor Who?
Former Doctor Who star Sylvester McCoy has told STV that he thinks Matt Smith has done “a really good job” - but believes Billy Connolly would be ideal for the role.
Of the current Doctor, Sylvester said: “Matt is wonderfully strange. He’s got a great, strange look to him, a great face, and his timing is terrific, his concentration and everything.
“And he’s very young! I wasn’t mad about the idea of him doing it, but now he’s done it I think he’s done a really good job.”

Bye Bye THE BILL
That's your lot folks! no more catching criminals, well not on ITV, well not on THE BILL. Goodbye and good riddance I say! There are no tears shed from me tonight. I use to tune in, but that was many moons ago now. It just isn't exciting anymore to watch a shoplifting or graffti storyline. There are better cop shows to watch... The Bill has had its day, it is about time it was thrown in the slammer and charged under Section 1 of The Rubbish TV Programmes Act 2010... Guilty as charged Me Lord! :-)
