Doctor Who The End Of Time cast list confirmed: with surprises in store!
The full cast listing for the forthcoming Doctor Who Christmas specials, The End Of Time Parts One and Two, has now been fully uploaded to IMDB.

David Tennant and Bernard Cribbins are taking centre stage for the two parter. But on top of them, among amongst the cast listing for part one are:John Barrowman (Captain Jack)

Our guess is that she’s going to appear in some flashback moment, but wouldn’t it be great if she had something to do with the Time Lords all along? Or was one?
Note that there’s at least one more Time Lord in the cast now, too, on top of The Master and the Doctor. Plus, it’s being widely assumed that Timothy Dalton is a Time Lord too. Should be interesting! It also seems that we will get a regeneration sequence, given that Mr Smith is in the cast list.
Most of the cast from part one is replicated in part two, although Brian Cox appears to be missing.

JUST when Dr Who thought he had seen the last of the Daleks, he finds himself face-to-face with 117 of them.
But this time, actor Colin Baker's encounter with the robotic mutants had nothing to do with saving the universe — the 66-year-old was the star attraction at autographs fair Heroes and Legends V.
The event, which took place at Swansea's Dolphin Hotel on Sunday, and featured a range of sci-fi memorabilia and activities.
As well as a personal appearance from the former Doctor, Port Talbot man Philip Parsons showed off his sprawling collection of Daleks.
Also entertaining the crowds were boxing trainer Enzo Calzaghe, Star Wars puppeteer Jerome Blake and Marvel Comics cartoonist Anthony Williams.

Peter Davison was back on our screens in the UK this week, playing Denis Thatcher in 'The Queen', a docu-drama on Channel 4. (Tuesday 01 December, 9:00pm - 10:00pm)

The conflict between the two most powerful women in Britain in the 1980s is the subject of the third film in this week's docudrama series. The Queen and Margaret Thatcher were long rumoured to have had a strained relationship (although who's to say whether Prince Philip really did refer to the PM as "that bloody grocer's daughter"?). But it became public currency when The Sunday Times ran a front-page story that claimed the Queen thought Thatcher's regime "uncaring and divisive". Not only that, but as head of the Commonwealth the Queen wanted Britain to fall into line over imposing economic sanctions against apartheid South Africa, something Thatcher refused to do. Susan Jameson as the Queen and Lesley Manville as the PM have a whale of a time politely sniping at each other. And if the lines between reality and fiction do get blurred (was there really an evening when a heartless Thatcher giggled over Yes Prime Minister while the Queen wept before news footage of riots in South Africa?), it's an enjoyable watch. Part four is tomorrow at 9pm.*

Barrowman: 'No Captain Jack in new Who'
John Barrowman has said that he does not think Captain Jack Harkness will return for Matt Smith's first series of Doctor Who.
The star is tipped to appear in David Tennant's final two-parter as the Tenth Doctor, but Barrowman said that he was not sure if he would reappear in the programme.
Barrowman told Radio 2: "I don't know about Captain's Jack future in Doctor Who because nothing has been said or I haven't been asked.
"I'm kind of prepared that I won't be in any of it, which is fine." *

'Doctor Who' filming in Croatia
Doctor Who is filming an episode in Croatia, the BBC has confirmed.
The cast and crew of the cult show are currently shooting in the small coastal town of Trogir for an episode of the upcoming fifth series, which sees Matt Smith take over from David Tennant as the titular character.
Amateur photographs of filming depict a scene that sees the TARDIS arrive among market stalls, while speculation suggests that the story is set several centuries ago and involves vampires.
Reports also suggest that a character named Rory - believed to be the boyfriend of new companion Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) - is involved in the episode. *
